WHAT'S MY SIZE?

As Podiatrists, we understand how difficult it can be to select the correct shoe size for your child. So here are a few quick steps to accurately measuring the length of your child’s foot.

1. GRAB SOME PAPER

Place a piece of A4 paper on a hard, flat surface and tight up against a wall.

2. STAND TALL

Stand tall with the heel firmly against the wall. Weight bearing should be even and not balancing on one foot.

3. MARK THE LONGEST TOE

Put a mark infront of the longest toe. Typically, this would be your first or second toe.

4. MEASURE

Measure the length from the bottom of the paper to this mark. Ensure you keep your measure straight and not on an angle.

5. Record and Repeat

Record this measurement to the nearest millimetre. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the other foot.

6. USING YOUR MEASURMENTS

Use the measurment from the longest foot and enter it into the Fit Finder on the shoe style of your choice for an accurate size recommendation. You can find the Fit Finder on each shoe page, just below the price.

Remember!

It's normal to have different sizes across our styles of shoes. Entering your measurements in our Fit Finder for each style, will give you the best size recommendation.

Common Mistakes

Silly mistakes aren't that silly and can be easily avoided. Read more below on what you can do to avoid these common mistakes.

What to avoid when measuring

Avoid standing on carpet or an uneven floor. Doing this will skew your measurement.

Avoid rounding up or down when measuring. Our Fit Finder allows for growth room so be sure to record accurate measurements.

Avoid using a measuring tape. We recommend a ruler instead.

Remember to put your measurement in on each shoe style. Each style could recommend a different shoe size for you.
